Who Will Be The Next Bachelor?

Many viewers, including myself, just watched the beautiful engagement of Ashley Hebert and JP Rosenbaum. Now America has to decide the Bachelor to be. There are three main contestants that appear to be in the running. The first is the well known Ben Flajnik. As one of the men in the final two, Ben had complete confidence that he had found love and was going to propose to Ashley. This confidence backfired when Ashley sent him home by inflaming a bit of anger. On After the Final Rose, Ben shows his change of thought in the situation and selflessly congratulates Ashley. The second is the hopeless romantic Ryan Park who had quite a bumpy ride. After receiving the first impression rose on the first night, Ryan waited until he finally got his one-on-one date. He stirred up the other men by his what they called "camp counselor" attitude, making himself come off as annoying. After elimination he surprised Ashley in Figi to try to win her one last time. The question is, did that move give America compassion for the man or just recognize his despair? The last is Ames Brown who got eliminated after the hometown dates. His sweet and respectable nature immediately made America fall in love with him making it heartbreaking when he left.

My opinion on the subject often changes. Though Ryan made the extra leap and tries to win Ashley's heart. I do not think he would make a mature next Bachelor. I found that him going to Figi was desperate and turned me off. The other two I have a hard time deciding. Though Ben had the toughest spot being rejected proposing, I am not sure whether he would want to be the next Bachelor. I can see Ames being  the best suited for it since America loves him, but what comes of his relationship with Jackie Gordon on the Bachelor Pad? Since the premier of Bachelor Pad airs next Monday, we don't know whether him and Jackie stay as a couple afterwards.

Like My New Kicks?

So recently I've taken a huge interest in Nike shoes and hope to purchase more. In the a regular store such as Foot Locker, Journey's, etc., these shoes can cost $90+. To avoid this sort of cost I searched online and found Zappos.com! It is a completely reliable online store. Not only does it sell shoes but it sells other products also. The great part about it is you can find better deals and get free shipping unless you order a quicker delivery. You can also return anything you buy with a 1-year warranty with no hassle at all! It's great. I highly recommend this site. These Nike Air Max Command I purchased only cost me $78 which saved me at least $20. I got them 4 days after I bought them and I wear them all the time! They're so comfortable! I'm normally a 7.5 to 8 in women's and since these came in Youth sizes I did online searching to figure out that my size would be about a 6 to 6.5 in Youth. I learned something new there!

Brad and Emily

The big question arrises; will Brad Womack and Emily Maynard stay together? Like many other bachelors and bachelorettes, their relationship could fall apart. In my opinion, I think their relationship is going to last forever (if that doesn't sound too cheezy). What makes their love real is that they have had many rough moments trying to figure out if they could fit into each other's lives. Throughout the show, they constantly reasurred each other that they could make it work and ended up sharing the most amazing moments together. In the Bachelor's After the Final Rose, Trista and Ryan, Jason and Molly, and Ali and Roberto, came to give the new couple some tips. With those tips, I think Brad and Emily are sure they can make it work. Their constant "I love you's" were a testament to that. I hope the beautiful couple will continue to grow through their relationship and a have a wonderful marriage. :)

Simplicity In Designer Logos

Here are an assortment of designer logos. I am amazed how simple some of them can be and get so unique and distinct. Some (like Dior) are just a word with a certain font, and others (like Juicy Couture) have more intricate design. There is some overlapping, borders, and pictures that make each one different. The simple black lettering still reveals the essence of the unique symbols.

Tracking Avatar Movement

Filming a movie like Avatar is an enormous project for the graphics teams. The reason the Avatar's look so life like is based on the technology they were able to use. If you look closely, there are a bunch of tiny green dots on the woman's face in the top picture. These dots tracked her facial expressions and transferred them to the movie screen. The suits they wore while acting it out also served for the same purpose. Then the graphics filled that in creating the blue creatures that we cherish on the screen.

The Years of Starbucks Logos

Starbucks started out in 1971 just selling coffee beans. But when the owner visited Europe he saw how many coffee shops there were around. So when he came to Seattle, he made a coffee shop that sold ready made coffee. This was new. As the years went by, the name simplified. Today, we know the logo as the 1992 logo; Starbucks Coffee, two stars, green, with black around the mermaid. As of 2011, Starbucks has become so successful that the brand name isn't even included on the logo. The simple mermaid does the trick.
